Friends of the Library is an organization that supports the Blue Ridge Regional Library by:

• purchasing items to supplement the library's budget 
• stimulating the public use of the libraries 
• enhancing and initiating literacy, drama, and educational programs  

The Friends host

• at least 2 book sales a year (in April and October )
• meet the author programs
• other cultural programs

The Friends also support

• Literacy Program of Martinsville and Henry County
• Children's programs
• Summer Reading Club

Be a Friend. The cost is:

• $15 for an individual
• $25 for a family
• $50 for a Contributor
• $100 for a Good Friend
• $250 for a Best Friend
• $500 for the Golden Circle
