ATTENTION PATRONS IN THE BASSETT AREA!

Due to a PLANNED POWER OUTAGE the Bassett Library and the Historical Center will open at 12 NOON on Saturday January 28, 2012 IF the power is restored at that time. If you have items that you need to return please feel free to drop them off at any of the other branches of the Blue Ridge Library System. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Beginning November 1st, 2011 Bassett will be expanding their operating hours once again. They will be open 6 days a week starting Nov 1st for our patrons. Click on Locations & Hours link on the left for more details.

Starting January 2012 Collinsville will now be open on Wednesdays from 12:00pm until 5:00pm.

The Martinsville Branch is now a Family Place Library! Family Place is a library model which makes the public library the hub of the community, with information, resources and programs for family support. As a Family Place Library, we encourage lifelong learning in all our patrons, be they babies or elders, and offer families with young children a safe, welcoming space where they can come play, read, and grow with their children.

Bookmobile Fund! Help support the bookmobile so that we may continue to service the Patrick County area!

History Day at Collinsville Library "show and tell" - is a time for learning and sharing about local history in an informal setting. It is held at 2:30 pm the third Sunday of February, May, August and November.
